Today i had chocolate fondue again with my family!! SUPER SHIOK AFTER A REALLY TIRING CAMP!! woot!. Now to the topic of the camp I've just been through. The Facilitator's Camp.
Day 1
Time: 19th Oct 2007, 7.15pm.

Rush down to school. I was feeling "dead and dying" as i had a long day of school and my bag was weighing a ton. We were allocated into groups of 3 and started our ice breaker.
Right after ice-breaker, all the 3 groups were merge into one huge group, and we had a night walk on the very first night. In this night walk, we would have to go through stations, and in every station, we have to complete it with the task he assign, failing it would cause casualties in the group, example, blind, crippled and dead. And in this night walk, no one is allowed to talk and speak a word except the leader.

The first station, the mud crawl. The weather condition was cooling and the ground was a little wet from the night water vapor. We are to crawl under strings that were tied to tables and if we were to touch the string, we would have to restart, and the time allocated for this station, 30 minutes. We have about 30 members. So we crawled, and gosh, the ground was horrible or what. We had to lie face flat on the ground as the obstacle was really tough and low. The grass was like scrubbing onto the face and the whole body was itching like mad once after completion. We failed that station as we firstly didn't manage to get everyone across within 30 minutes and we have exceeded the time allocated to us for that task.

Casualties happen and we got 2 dead, 2 blind, and 3 crippled. We were given a short amount of time to wash up and carry on to the next station. Some of us got back late, and another casualty happen. 1 more dead. So the dead will really have to act dead and their body have to be "nua nua" that kind. The crippled will have to be carried around and the blind will have to be blind folded and led by another person. Okay, nevermind, i think it will be too long winded to write all the details down. But yeah, that is the rough idea of that game. We ended the game at around 3 and slept at nearly 4.30am.

Day 2 Time: 20th Oct 2007, 6.45am.

The alarm rang and we force ourselves to get up and wash up and hurried to assemble. Had our breakfast, then had a briefing on our yesterday's performance. After that, we had an instructor from the adventure club to take over for the day. We first played the game the sheep and shepherd. The sheep will have to be blind folded and the shepherd could only use verbal conversation with the sheep to lead it through the obstacle course. After that, we had rock climbing, and we learn belaying. Super tiring, but nevertheless, FUN! And finally, we went for the High Elements, and this is where i wanna start talking about. The High Elements are those obstacle course that would challenge you against your fear of heights. It looks seemly dangerous because of its height, but as long as there is a bilayer, there is actually nothing much to worry about. So here is what happen there. I was waiting for my turn to come while for the High Elements when the instructor called me in privately to talk to him. He told me that I have task to do when i get up the high elements, he wanted me to act as if i've hurt myself while falling from the high elements, and he have already prepared a bottle of red food colouring up there with his assistant. He also told two other campers about it as one would be belaying me while the other will have to ensure that all hand phone are taken away. Okay, so i was made to be the last person and yes, i got up the high element, and started walking. I was like so freaking scared, it was like so super high and my leg was trembling and I'm so serious about it. So to pretend as if i'm not scared, i started talking to the people below, and i shout to Cheryl from up there to sing me a love song. Instead, Patricia sang for me. LOL. But still nevertheless, I insisted on Cheryl to sing me a song while i cross the high element, so she sang, but i can't hear. Not shiok. LOL. After the tiring process of acting courages, i've finally reach the end of the high elements, i was so relief but that is just the end of one phrase, now comes the second, that is to act really hurt. So this is the scenario now, i'm now at the other end of the high element and have yet to come down from it, while the rest was just slacking at one corner waiting for me to come down. But b4 i could get down, the instructor called them to gather at one end of the high elements where the camper's back are facing me. So i took this very opportunity to put on the food coloring over my head and i got back down real quick and my bilayer saw that i was ready, suddenly start shouting and panicking and frantically running around like a mad person claiming it wasn't her fault. Every campers start gathering round me to wonder what happen as the notice "blood" were all over my face and even stained on my white shirt. So i just stood there acting as if I'm at the verge of dying and the first-aider herself was panicking. Cheryl and Patricia started crying as they thought they were gonna lose a friend and the rest started looking for the phone to call the ambulance. Then there was this group on onlookers, they didn't know what to do and so they just stop and stare. LOL. I acted as if i was dying for almost 10 minutes, and the first aider thought that i was genuinely hurt too. LOL. But while she was first-aiding me through that 10 minutes, she said 3 things that made me totally feel like laughing while i was acting. She said to the instructor "Rulfred, the breathing seems perfectly fine, i just don't get what's wrong with me.", after awhile, the instructor ask why my eyes just won't open, and then she replied "Oh, he must have when through some trauma while going down thus not able to open his eyes." LOL. The last statement she made. The instructor ask me what is my condition, she relpied him "I cannot find the wound on the head but there is massive amount of blood there, the wound should be there but it has to be superficial." LOL. cannot take it, the first-aider successfully got many things that would probably lead her to guess that i'm faking but she didn't get it after 10 MINUTES!! LOL. cannot tahan. After that, she check if i was paralyze from the fall, so they pinched my thighs to check if i can feel pain there, but i act as if i didn't feel a thing, so again they thought that there was a very high possibility that i broke my back. LOL. After that, the first-aider put alcohol on my face that was stain with red blood, wah seh, that one was really pain on the face man, it was stinking me on my face, but still, i didn't show that i was acting until the instructor told me so. I got up from that lying position and suddenly started smiling and laughing. Everyone got a shock as they thought it was real, the campers wanted to tau pok me!! LOL. Cheryl and Pat with tears and their swelled eyes, who was on their way back saw that i'm fine could not take it but to keep slapping me on my arms and back and shouting my name. Oops! I didn't intend to make them cry though, but it felt really good to know that there are people who would be concern over my well being. i was kinda touch by them. LOL. So after that the instructor gathered us to in a circle and started teaching us about awareness within our surrounding. Done with high elements and so we went to wash up and that was about the end of day 2.

Day 3..boring. don't want to talk about it. LOL.
